Caedmon, a wise warrior of battles to come, was named after the original messenger who announced the coming of the unseen Lord. Dream: A Call to the kNight by L.R. Phillips tells the tale of Caedmon’s life and struggles as he tries to listen only to the unseen Lord, in spite of the harsh realities of his struggles. In spite of his parents’ inability to follow the Lord, Caedmon receives valuable lessons from others, mediators, whose purpose is to speak to the Lord on behalf of other pilgrims. Following the Lord requires constant awareness and the ability to ignore the messages the Dragon and his minions try to spread to infect the minds of the less dedicated. Caedmon faces many challenges but grows strong in his attachment to the unseen Lord, and is able to work on His behalf with many friends who also face obstacles to their belief. With the guidance of the Lord and help from His servants beyond the Mist, Caedmon and his friends prepare for battle against the Dragon and his forces of evil after the reappearance of the unseen Lord. Will the pilgrims stay strong in their faith or will the whispered messages of the Dragon and his emissaries weaken the link they have with the Lord?
Dream: A Call to the kNight by L.R. Phillips is an epic tale of faith through good and bad times, and the promise of help from the Lord for all those who simply ask. Vivid descriptions of earthly issues, as well as the world beyond the Mist and wonderfully real characters, enrapture you as you follow their trials and tribulations in a world that grows increasingly further from the Lord and His Truth. You truly feel the suffering of the characters. Dream is an excellent story of hope and living the right life by trusting in the guidance of the Lord.
