The vivid depictions brought the scenes to life on the pages. The multi-perspective timeline used to unfold the storyline introduced me to a diverse, dynamic cast. Through the themes of surveillance, control, freedom, family, love, rebellion, ethical dilemma, loyalty, and more, Edwards highlights the importance of technological advancement in a future society, yet, at the same time, paints a grim picture of how it could be the undoing of society if corrupted. There is suspense, adventure, thrills, and more in this book.
