When Peter first met Tara, he thought she was part of the show for his best friend's bachelor party so it was understandable that Tara and Peter started their relationship hating each other - but soon, that hate turned into love. Three years later, Tara finds herself going back to the place where they first met, trying to relive the good old days, before the hurt and the pain seeped into their lives. How will Tara regain her life in Fighting the Impossible by Selina Bodur.

Fighting the Impossible by Selina Bodur is an emotional, romantic and promising story of love, loss, grief and trying to get back the happiness of life. It is written in an alternating past and present point of view, ending with what happened in the past that caused Tara’s actions in the present. During the course of the story, it was obvious how in love Tara and Peter were with each other. Tara’s love was also equally proportional to the sorrow she was feeling. You can feel through the pages the anguish she was experiencing and it wasn't hard to sympathize with her. It was a moving read, every page charged with emotions. The anticipation to what happened with Peter was exciting and the ending didn't disappoint. What happened was sad, but Tara's comeback can be a source of inspiration to anyone who has suffered the same fate as these two people. For such a short story, it was packed with feelings and passion. A five star read.
