From Clutter To Clean: Mia's Sparkling Room and Heart by Dagmara Schulte is an educational story. Mia lives in a lovely little house by the woods and she loves playing until the day her mom tells her it's time to clear her room of the piles of toys. Mia has no idea where to start – the mountain in front of her is overwhelming. Then, a fairy twinkles into life in front of her and teaches her how to tackle the task and make it easier. As the fairy makes the big clean-up into a game, Mia begins to realize that even tidying up can be as fun as playing with all her toys!
From Clutter to Clean by Dagmara Schulte is an amazing book with a clear message. The gorgeous illustrations help the story along, and, aside from being a fun story, it also teaches children about determination. It helps them learn that no task is ever too big to face – simply break it down and do it one tiny step at a time. It also teaches them how to use everything they do to help them grow and learn. The story is written in rhyme, which makes it easy for kids to read and follow along and the messages are clear. I also liked the addition of reminding Mia of her achievements, a reminder that she could achieve anything she wanted with a little bit of determination and hard work. That's something all kids should be taught, making this a great book for kids at home or school.
