God Everywhere, God Everything by Elior talks about God’s presence by describing creation as an ever-active expression of divine thought, in which every location, natural process, and human life exists within God’s being. Elior says that the human mind functions as a limited counterpart to the divine mind, teaching us that the world operates like a single unit sustained by God. Elior backs this up with scripture, specifically miracles and events with these natural patterns, lending weight to the argument that physical and spiritual laws come from the same source. Elior uses Adam and Eve as examples of continued human failure, linking it to ongoing divine forgiveness. The author affirms God as being eternal and unchanging, and that God’s presence encompasses all things.

God Everywhere, God Everything: Seek and You Shall Find by Elior is a welcoming approach to faith, especially in the way the word of God gives readers fresh meaning when reading through the lens of divine steadiness in creation. I like the stories Elior shares, like the parting of the Red Sea, which is then painted with an eye toward how natural order can echo God’s authority. This is a standout to me because it clearly creates a feeling of harmony between ancient accounts and the world we witness today. I admit that I genuinely have little knowledge of scripture, but I did not have trouble following along. Elior's writing style is academic but still accessible, so anyone picking this book up will be able to understand it and keep up, regardless of where they are in their faith journey.
