Your soul cries out as you read about the torture his family endures at his hands. Dragan robs his daughter, Lilac, of her childhood and adolescence. She yearns to make peace with these horrors and burst free from the invisible cage of her depression, anxiety, and emotional paralysis.

Lilac confronts her agonizing memories to find peace through meditation and transmutation. She lets go of the past to move into the future and accepts the truth about her traumas. Conditioned to fear, resigned to Dragan’s enslavement and threats, she makes many sacrifices to save her mother and sisters from her father’s demonic wrath. However, despite all her anguish, Lilac still has a huge heart and loves so powerfully. Her keen intuition, her instinctual gift, for reading energy heals and protects those around her. She is a warrior, filled with courage, a character all readers will adore.

The author does a spectacular job of showing the darkness and then washing it with light. Written with poetry and melody, Lali A. Love paints a story of strength, power, love, and self-healing. Lali A Love has written a book that oozes magic on every page. The reader empathizes with Lilac very much. Despite what Lilac endures, I think this book is ultimately an uplifting tale. People often need to go through adversity to truly know their strength and ability to shine, and the women in this book are no different. The characters' struggles are real and vividly conveyed in this novel. I recommend for anyone with a mystical side.

This book has a richly imaginary world. I truly felt that I was a part of this world while reading this. It was very atmospheric. The plot of this story was expertly crafted. There was so much that went into the story. It is intriguing and suspenseful. The story flows perfectly. I also enjoyed the author's writing style very much. It was very easy to fall into the story.

Overall, this book is great! This is a world that devoured my thoughts long after I finished reading. This was such an impressive debut and I can't wait to read more of this author!

The story starts out with the gut-wrenching abuse a family of females endure from the hands of a tormented husband/father. It’s hard to fathom at times - the level of darkness portrayed. A daughter, Lilac, is somehow able to hold on to a sliver of light deep within her being that enables her and her family to go on an extraordinary transformational journey and overcome the dark forces that surrounded them for so many years. This book is a master class into frequencies and energy, and how they operate in our lives. The main vibe is the love, light and female empowerment that emanate from the Author. Love pens a magnificent story in Heart of a Warrior Angel: From Darkness to Light. I haven't read anything from this author before, and I really enjoyed this story. The characters were raw and very intense, living in both dark and light of triumphs, pain and tragedy. This author brings the stories to life. There was something about this story that made me read it from beginning to end, stopping only to take a breath and reflect on what I've read.

This author's characters develop and interacts well with the other characters. The scenes and stories within the story were raw and well described, as well as heartbreaking and heart-fulfilling. I have fast become a big fan of Lali A. Love. It's a very compelling story that pulls the reader in from the beginning.

Lilac was definitely an unforgettable character. "Lilac made the decision to let go of anything that no longer served her. She was determined to release any remaining pent-up negative energy surrounding her, even though she knew the darkness would never fully dissipate." Heart of a Warrior Angel: From Darkness to Light is a definite highly recommended read by Amy's Bookshelf Reviews. I look forward to reading more by this author.

I won this book from a Goodreads giveaway. I could not put the book down and the story pulled me progressively into its depths. There were times I had to stop for a moment because I became emotional at the storyline being told. I loved this book and I am so grateful Lali wrote this story. It speaks volumes to the journey I have been on for ten years now. I give this book 5 stars and I look forward to reading more from this author!

Heart of a Warrior Angel by Lali A. Love is a haunting, emotionally-gripping story and I’ve not cried so much since reading Flowers in the Attic. This is a tale on two dimensions: the first being the memoir of Lilac Nobel, and the second an introduction into enlightenment – the power by which humans understand the universe and improve their own condition.

I pondered whilst reading on why the author would choose to write a narrative with an absence of dialogue, after all most would contend that only short stories can carry off the lack of speech without boring the reader. I feel now that I have finished and had time to reflect, that speech would have made it harrowing by making the people within the story even more real. I was heartbroken by the first half of Lilac’s life and was only able to continue reading because of Lali A. Love’s clever and sensitive story-telling style, and I can assure you I was far from bored. I was in fact gripped, fascinated, moved and unable to put the book down.

Although, we travel this novel through the eyes of Lilac, it isn’t only about her, but all the people she loves, especially her sisters. The need to protect her mother and sisters from her father, even when that meant pain for herself, was so touching. Love is the main message (I feel) behind this story, sacrificial love that puts others before self, but also the understanding of how important it is to love one’s self.

Lali A. Love has artfully crafted a mystical story that starts in Georgia in the 1950s and ends in Canada in the present day. There is violence in this story, but it is neither graphic nor glorified, it is simply stated as what happened. I think the title is very apt and also the lovely book cover clearly shows what type of book this is and will instantly attract people who love stories about the paranormal.

Lastly, Heart of a Warrior Angel is a must read for anyone with a traumatic past. I am convinced that knowing we are not alone in our sorrows, understanding that there is a light at the end of the tunnel and that we only have to move towards it, and learning about our own inner strength are all things that will inspire us to love without limits and to forgive when it hurts. Heart of a Warrior by Lali A. Love is a moving, thought-provoking read, and comes highly recommended.
