When a crime boss takes on a psychic who may have a connection to the famous astrological prophet Nostradamus, you can expect the results to be out of this world! Horrorscope, a wonderful book by a group of authors, Brian Evans, Helen Marie Bousquet, and Mark Andrew Biltz, relates the events surrounding Helen Wilson, a quiet, small-town psychic whose amazing abilities attract the attention of New York’s most deadly crime family. Her simple life is turned upside down when the Boss turns to Helen for information to help him pull off successful heists. Detective Merton Howard is pulled into this unconventional situation and comes to accept Helen’s gift, along with her warm heart and loving concern for others, in spite of his inability to reconcile the inexplicable with his need for hard facts. When cosmic powers are brought into play, who will win and how will people explain the events that follow?

Horrorscope is a terrific book that provides plenty of action and emotion while it stretches the boundaries of belief regarding what is possible in the universe. While demonstrating that the use of the occult for benevolent purposes is rewarding, the abuse of this gift is not to be taken lightly, as crime boss AC discovers. Evans, Bousquet and Biltz have done an excellent job combining their talents to create a story that flows well and portrays realistic characters, exploring a variety of human strengths and weaknesses. With a blend of crime, intrigue, human interest and the supernatural, Horrorscope offers something unique that is sure to catch and hold your interest.

The most original story that I have read in years. Destined for film. Awesome idea and I can't believe no one came up with it already. Hat's off to Brian Evans, Mark Biltz, and Helen Marie Bousquet. You all did a great job on this one. Good for all of you.

I love that the zodiac signs come to life after the mafia attacks the main character. It's cool as hell. Then the main character has all these cool powers. Total movie.
