Children have always been a constant in her life. She lives with her long time spouse, adorable Pomeranians, and a very independent cat. She is Mother to three incredible Sons and Daughters-in-law and eight beautiful and talented Granddarlings.
She has college degrees, but says she has learned the greatest lessons from life, and the school of hard knocks! Through it all she believes that it is imperative that we keep our faith.

I Do Not Like Bugs! My Truly Most Favorite Fluffy Friend, Book 3 is a children’s picture book written by Pamela Tomlin and illustrated by Tamara Piper. Emma and her fluffy friends were having a lot of fun playing swashbuckling pirates one day. Emma was a pirate princess with a dashing head scarf and a pirate’s cutlass, but her attention was broken when a fly flew in through her open window. Emma doesn’t like bugs, not at all. Her fluffy friends don’t really understand why the fly is bothering her so much. Banjo Bear suggests she get a fly swatter, but Emma decides to take the spray bottle she finds in her parents’ bedroom and spray the intruder instead. She sprays the fly as it sits on her puppy’s tail, but, no matter how hard she tries, the fly evades her efforts, and her mom is not at all happy when she discovers that Emma has used up all of her perfume. What can Emma do about that pesky fly?

Pamela Tomlin’s children’s picture book, I Do Not Like Bugs! My Truly Most Favorite Fluffy Friend, Book 3, is a humorous and entertaining story about a little girl who really hates bugs. I loved seeing the expressions on her fluffy friends’ faces as she douses her room in perfume. Tamara Piper’s illustrations are marvelous! They’re bold and brightly colored, and her renderings of Emma’s plushies makes them seem so very real. Tomlin’s story has fable elements to it as Emma realizes that the fly is not so horrible after all, and seeing her learn to accept it as a living creature is heartwarming. I Do Not Like Bugs! My Truly Most Favorite Fluffy Friend, Book 3 is a grand story-time selection, but it’s also quite suitable for new readers to try on their own. It’s most highly recommended.
