I'll Always Love My Mama by Dominique Wilkins is about Audrey Fitzgerald who has the hard task of raising her boys all by herself. Though her husband is there, he is not an active participant when it comes to helping with the boys. The story is a heartwarming tale of a mother who, like every mother, tries to protect her children.

The character of Audrey Fitzgerald stand tall and prominent in this book. The phases that a woman passes through in her life as a wife and a mother, and how she fights against all odds trying to make things work out well forms the story line. The Christian theme of counselling, inspiration, and motivation is handled well here. I wish there were more authors writing these kinds of stories in the current times because it is important to remain inspired and motivated.

I'll Always Love My Mama,as the title suggests, finally is the story of a child who realizes the sacrifices made by his mother, and the trials and tribulations she has undergone alone to make life easier for them. The part where Erik invites his mother to share his one-room apartment is very touching.

Stories like this are very motivating. It speaks about a lot of things in life like forgiveness, new beginnings, change, and most important of all, unconditional love which seem to be nonexistent now. The theme of faith and love adds to the spiritual content of the story. On a whole, a very uplifting and inspiring story.

How far does a mother's love go? To Heaven and back again. After losing one son to the streets and to prison, this mother takes it upon herself to protect her son from a crime in the name of love. She doesn't realize that protecting him from everything may not be in her best interest. After time goes on her son's new love comes in and takes over, but mom still does everything she can to make sure she doesn't lose her son, until one day she's faced with an awful truth ..... sheltering him has back fired on her, and his new woman is completely taking over. The decision she has to make in order to save herself from being pushed out of her son's life is a difficult one, but one she knows she has to make. Don't miss out on this wonderful book by Ms. Wilkins!!

I'll Always Love My Momma by Dominique Wilkins, focus on the Fitzgerald Family. The storyline is a version of Shirley Caesar's gospel hit "Don't Throw Your Momma Away"!! There are many issues within the family from lack of parental involvement, disciplinary, delinquency, incarceration, abandonment, child accidental shooting, parental obstruction of justice to redemption. Biblical verses are referenced throughout. The storyline is interesting; however, the cover is disturbing and unappealing for Contemporary Christian Genre.

This book was very very interesting read, it has a lot of twist and turns that leads to a great ending. Dominique Wilkins should write a part 2 to this book.
