I'll Meet You at the Rainbow by Jillian Rodriguez is a lovely children’s book beautifully illustrated by Irina Litvin. Indeed, the colors are bright, lively, and fun and perfectly accompany this cute and engaging story. The characters are so happy and full of life that this short book will be a delight for you to read to your very young kids or your students. It teaches young children all about colors and so much more!
I'll Meet You at the Rainbow by Jillian Rodriguez is all about the magic of colors, the way they illuminate our world and our lives. It is based on the metaphor of a great journey on a rainbow. This is a perfect choice as the rainbow, with all its colors, is a symbol of faith and hope. What is more, it appears just after the rain, illustrating the proverb that every cloud has a silver lining. After reading this delightful children’s book, you will feel like checking out what each color means and learn more about them. Children’s books are generally bright and positive. I have read a lot of them, particularly those teaching young kids about colors (being a mum and grandma).
I'll Meet You at the Rainbow is quite original and even more engaging than most as it shows kids how to be happy through their appreciation of the world around them, which is all the more important nowadays when we consider the crisis that has been causing so much pain for nearly a year.
