Inspired by Laura A Luszczek is the story of Conner, a talented young artist on the path to stardom. Painting is his unique gift and he has honed it so that it has become an extension of his personality. His reputation has grown over the years and now a rare opportunity is offered him, one that can put him on the same level with the artistic geniuses of all time. While everything starts off well in the beginning, he feels continually pressured by his art agent. He has to come up with unique ideas for his centerpieces. Follow him as he reconnects with his childhood through the help of his daughter. What does he find in the little treasure box from his childhood and how does it help in his work?
Heartwarming, powerful, and indeed inspiring, Inspired is told in a voice that is bold, clear and arresting. The protagonist is well imagined, and I loved the way the author develops him. An artist who is experiencing a block in his work but who, under pressure, begins to understand how he hasn't really lived life on his own terms. His journey to inner freedom and connecting to inspiring moments is a powerful lesson for creative minds. Laura A Luszczek takes readers into the heart of an artist and allows them to experience those moments of frustration, the long nights without sleep, and the days when the soul wallows in an arid landscape. The writing is gorgeous, filled with artistic symbolism, characters that are strong and memorable, and an exciting plot. An inspiring book about inspiration.
