Leashes in Heaven by Jeff Allen is a gentle, heartfelt novel about love, loss, and the deep bond between people and their dogs. Through memories, both joyful and sad, the narrator shares his journey of grief, healing, and gratitude, showing how the love of family and pets can help us through even the toughest times. The story is not just about saying goodbye but also about celebrating the time we have together and finding comfort in the memories that remain.
Jeff Allen’s writing is warm, honest, and easy to read. The plot unfolds naturally, often moving between past and present, but the pace never feels rushed or confusing.
