Little Black Boy by Brittany Green is an engaging storybook that celebrates the contribution made by black men to the world. The little black boy in the book is told that he is one of God's greatest gifts and his future is as bright as the sun, that his ancestors ruled great lands and he also has the same power in him. The African kings Mansa Musa, Endubis, and Ezana of Axum have created a legacy of excellence for their descendants to look up to and feel proud of them. The little black boy is given examples of Barack Obama and Martin Luther King. Let us read the book to learn about the contributions made by black men and how they have impacted the world with their smartness and confidence.

Little Black Boy by Brittany Green is a beautiful book that gives confidence to youngsters to face the world and shoot for the stars. Fuuji Takashi adds color and life with his wonderful illustrations that make the book appealing to readers. The contributions made by black men will inspire the black children to pursue their dreams and become successful. It is a good book to use in classrooms for read-aloud and storytelling sessions, and the positive representation of black men is motivating and inspiring in the classroom. It is also a good way for parents and tutors to make children aware of the black men who excelled because of their outstanding work and contributions to society.
