Love in Bloom by Alli Koch is a unique coloring book consisting predominantly of hearts and flowers. It is unique because of the distinct artistic variations using hearts and flowers that can be subtle or substantial. It is a fresh new tone of coloring book style and images that everyone will enjoy. Each drawing has details that emphasize various points of the art. There are forty-one drawings plus the one with the page with the author's bibliography. The drawings are fun and one can easily immerse oneself in the creative coloring process. Everyone can relate to the patterns, and it will be enjoyable for those who enjoy a spectacular picture for coloring.
Love in Bloom by Alli Koch is a beautiful feast of stunning pieces of art encapsulating love and romance. I love that not all the pictures are bursts of tremendous amounts of coloring. Koch seems to understand the need for simplicity to complement complex, busier ones and thus the author caters to everyone’s mood. One might feel playful sometimes. Other times, one might feel inspired to focus on the color scheme and layout of more complex coloring. I am a huge fan of hearts and flowers, and I am sure many other readers are too. Love in Bloom will be a welcome addition to the options available to those who love coloring. It will be a new treasure for those searching for something different to color. I would recommend this book to anyone who needs a new pastime.
