Molly and the Magic Suitcase: Molly Goes to Puerto Rico (Volume 6) by Chris Oler is the sixth book in the travel series with Molly and her brother Michael. Children get to see different parts of the world through these books and in this one readers travel to Puerto Rico with Molly and Michael. Readers get to know more about Puerto Rico, the language, the people, the culture, food, museums and much more. Alana, the new friend they make, shows them the fortress El Morro, La Forteleza where the Governor lives, San Cristobal, and tells them about salsa dancing and many other interesting activities in Puerto Rico.
I found the story educational and informative and this book is one of the best ways to teach kids about a new country, its culture, language and many other things. It also introduces them to new vocabulary and information. It is a good book for parents and grandparents to read out to their kids and grandkids. The book is also perfect for read aloud sessions in classrooms and libraries. The illustrations are bright and very helpful in making kids comprehend the place and its culture well. All the books in this travel series are exciting and speaks extensively about the countries Molly and Michael visit using their magic suitcase. By the time one finishes reading this book, they acquire knowledge about Puerto Rico. I loved the book and the journey with Molly and Michael. Why don't you all pack your suitcases and see Puerto Rico with Molly and Michael?
