Author Biography

David G. Williamsson transitioned from a career as a programmer to a successful software entrepreneur before delving into the world of writing. He debuted with "Proportional Revenge," the inaugural entry in the Chique-series that showcases the captivating character, Chique Fluellen, a brilliant and striking Afro-American young woman. David describes his books as spanning several genres, from erotic to political to crime and psychological thrillers. Aptly summarized by a reviewer, "In Proportional Revenge, Fifty Shades of Grey meets House of Cards!," hinting at its potent content that's not for the timid.

Born and educated in England, David has since settled in Holland with his third wife, Jacoline. His upcoming novel, "Mutually Beneficial," is slated for a late 2023 release. David is simultaneously immersed in crafting the manuscript for the third installment and conceptualizing the plot for the fourth.

In Mutually Beneficial by David G. Williamsson, Chique is enjoying a life of newfound pleasure with her fiance, Raymond, after overcoming her dark past to reclaim her life. When Susan McClarren, the powerful former US ambassador, pressures Chique to find a controversial film that jeopardizes her political ambitions, Chique’s tranquil world is upended. An evil plan is being carried out, and someone has made it their goal to use any means necessary to maintain control of the highest political office. Chique's latest challenge might be playing directly into the hands of this person. Chique's life descends into the depths of the underworld and leads to unfathomable suffering in a filthy Russian prison. Will Chique be saved before everything is lost, or is she just a victim in a larger game of power?

Mutually Beneficial grabbed my attention from the very first page and demanded that I stay engaged till the very last word. David G. Williamsson created a riveting roller coaster ride of politics, power, sex, betrayal, and murder. It is a fast-paced and action-packed thriller that kept me on the edge of my seat. The story is an engaging read, and I was never sure what was going to happen next. The scenes were vivid and descriptive and left nothing to the imagination. The characters were well-developed and authentic. The story is very well-written with an intriguing plot. I could not put it down, but at the same time, I wanted to take my time so that it would not be over too soon. This story is one of the best I have read in a long time.

Mutually Beneficial by David G Williamsson is a cybercrime thriller that is sure to set the reader’s pulse racing. In this sequel to Proportional Revenge, Chique Fluellen is comfortably settled with her partner in cyber and life, Raymond, when her life is upended through a meeting with former U.S. Ambassador to London, Susan McClarren. Ms McClarren, it appears, is gunning for an appointment as the sitting President’s running mate in the upcoming elections but she has something in her background that could potentially derail her political aspirations. There is a video out there that shows Susan indulging in her greatest passion; uninhibited and wild sex with black men. She needs Chique and Raymond to find that video and ensure it never sees the light of day. Money is no object and with Susan McClarren holding the specter of further incarceration over Chique’s head, she has no choice. What Chique and Raymond discover is danger, double-dealing, and a plot to secure the highest office in the land by whatever means are necessary.

Mutually Beneficial is a taut, exciting, very erotic, cybercrime thriller that will captivate readers from the very first paragraph. David G Williamsson has created a super sexy, super beautiful, and super smart hero in Chique Fluellen and is not afraid to place her in some extraordinary situations. It is always good to see a powerful, dominant woman who is sure of her intelligence, beauty, and sexuality, yet is nonetheless vulnerable and flawed in many ways. I haven’t read the first installment of this character’s adventures but can assure readers the author does an excellent job of dropping useful backstory tidbits into the narrative as it races along. I particularly enjoyed the eroticism inherent in Chique’s total makeup and, yes, while it is explicit it doesn’t cross that invisible line from erotic into turgid and grubby, in my opinion. Chique is sexy and beautiful and wears the mantle well despite her misgivings at times. Telling the story from more than one perspective also gives the narrative depth and variety. The plot is cleverly constructed and red herrings are dangled in front of readers to try to distract them, which is the mark of a thinking writer and makes the whole read fulfilling. The ending certainly allows for the next installment of Chique’s adventures which is a very good thing as I cannot wait to see how Chique and the rest of her team will react to what is a “clear and present danger.” I can highly recommend this read.

Mutually Beneficial is a work of fiction in the thriller, interpersonal drama, and political drama subgenres. It is best suited to mature adult readers owing to explicit scenes of sex and sexual assault. Penned by author David G Williamsson, this work is a captivating and thrilling sequel to the powerful and poignant Proportional Revenge. Chique Fluellen, a complex and alluring character, returns to the center stage in a seemingly happy new existence. But her newfound bliss with her fiancé is disrupted when the formidable ex-US Ambassador, Susan McClarren, calls on her to recover a scandalous film. Reluctantly, Chique agrees to help, setting in motion a series of events that delve into the dark and treacherous realms of the underworld.

Author David G Williamsson expertly weaves a story of intrigue, suspense, and political machinations that all come together in a strong tapestry of sinister dealings, sex, and scandal. The menacing plot to control the highest political office is palpable, and Chique's life is on a collision course with this nefarious scheme at all times, offering much in the way of nail-biting tension. As she navigates through this shadowy world, the reader is taken on a roller-coaster ride of steamy passion and unyielding resilience. What I found most intriguing about the book was the well-achieved balance between the political drama and Chique's personal journey. Her character is multifaceted, and her ability to adapt and overcome challenging situations is commendable, with some really detailed and emotionally intelligent narrative skills to help us get into her head. Overall, Mutually Beneficial is a must-read for those who enjoy a blend of steamy romance, political drama, and suspenseful storytelling.

The Fluellen sisters are recruited by an ambitious diplomat to help her out of a potentially embarrassing situation. The deeper they dig into their investigation, the more they realize that there is more to this assignment than meets the eye and they may have inadvertently walked into a spider's web of plots, counterplots, and conspiracy. Claire and Chique must use the resources available to them to sniff out friends from foes and determine if the allure of a paycheck is worth toying with Armageddon as they take on a vengeful opponent in David G. Williamsson's Mutually Beneficial.

Claire and Chique become collateral damage in a political game of chess as David G. Williamsson's storyline unfolds. Instead of the usual approach of gradually immersing the reader into the story, he opts for the direct approach with his style of storytelling. Mutually Beneficial jumps between past and present with a certain degree of synchronization that immediately has the reader scanning the characters to understand their deeper motivations. It gives the novel an intriguing edge and ramps up the suspense beautifully as the story progresses. Williamsson's characters are well crafted as he goes into extensive detail where their origin stories are concerned. This attribute applies to more than just the characters as the steamy scenes and action-laced episodes are accorded the same treatment. The conversations between the characters are impressive as these are the key to understanding this well-written story. Williamsson drops subtle hints to help the reader along. Mutually Beneficial is an action-filled story with more than enough intrigue and conspiracy to keep a reader guessing to the very last page.

Chique embarks on a precarious journey filled with high risks and danger that lands her in a grimy Russian prison.

Mutually Beneficial is a fast-paced, action-filled political thriller with a sinister plot. David G. Williamsson creates a page-turner that captures the reader from the very beginning. Throughout the novel, the characters and scenes are described in great detail. There is a believable inner world for each character and the reader can connect with their motivations. The story is filled with steamy passion, suspense, death, revenge, and hardcore toughness. This novel exposes readers to the realistic but dark realms of the underworld, as well as non-consensual sexual scenes that may be considered disturbing. However, they are important in creating an intricate and exhilarating plot. This action-packed story explores themes of treachery, resilience, and revenge. Mutually Beneficial contains explicit sexual scenes and profanity, so readers need to be open-minded while enjoying this thrilling ride of suspense and danger.
