Suffering from Muscular Neurological Myopathy from his youth, Alan grows up in an unconventional environment yet faces life's challenges with quiet resolve and youthful exuberance. Born with a gifted intellect in a home with two immensely supportive parents, Alan overcomes overwhelming odds in going through high school, distinguishing himself academically amongst his peers. A keen lover of sports such as baseball, football, and hockey, he never let his circumstances affect his enjoyment of life. After high school, Alan continues his academic pursuit at university with support from many people from all walks of life.
No Fear No Doubt No Regret is an inspirational and heartfelt memoir that not only tugs at your heartstrings but also makes you feel grateful for your existence and showcases both the fragility and the preciousness of life. Author Robert Omilian provides nine approaches to help readers appreciate the value of life and make full use of one's existence. The narrative has an authenticity that gives it a universal appeal, making it suitable for people from all walks of life. Omilian shows keen insight to provide a glimpse of the human spirit and how powerful it can be. No Fear No Doubt No Regret is one of the best non-fiction books I've read this year. It makes you feel optimistic for tomorrow. Highly recommended.
