This is a wonderful collaboration between author and illustrator. The author takes scriptures, which help guide the Christian in his/her walk with God. The illustrations of The Greek Islands take us on a profound journey of peace as we weave through the pathways of life.
On the Path with God enlightens the soul by helping us to remember the exquisiteness of life. It helped me to remember that though there can be many dark and dank places in life, we must take time to open our eyes and look at the magnificence of the all inspiring beauty of God’s creation. Man was created to glorify God, and glorify him they did with this empirical journey down the twisted cobblestone paths of an island glory. I imagine that I can smell the salty breeze of the sea and that the scent of the many flowers portrayed wafts in the gentle breeze caressing me. I found myself reading scriptures in a new light, and I was captivated by the beauty of the architecture that the illustrator brought to life. Therefore, when reading this book I found that I spent much of my day in quiet peace as I pondered over each tidbit of joy these collaborators brought to light.

The author gives new meaning to fellowshippinging with God. What an honor to be able to fellowship with the God of the universe. This book is a keeper for both its wonderful prose and its illustrations. If you are looking for a gentle ride of peace that passes all understanding, this book is for you. I personally love the illustration of the winding white staircase which seems to take you to that final destination called heaven.
