Part of Me by Deanna Kahler is an interesting story with an intriguing twist. Chase has been tormented for years by flashes of memories that make no sense. His life is upside-down because of these flashes and episodes of panic attacks that leave scattered clues about the mystery woman in his dreams and nightmares. Ultimately, he decides to seek help and undergoes sessions of hypnotism and past life regression therapy. What will these reveal about his life? Will he ever find out the truth about his visions? Can it be really true that love is forever and it can transcend time, lives and everything else? Who is the girl who has been stalking Chase? Why does he feel empty even though he has everything going for him?

The most interesting bit in Part of Me by Deanna Kahler was the past life/regression therapy part. The plot really makes one wonder what the secrets of our soul are? Are we all intertwined in some cosmic relationship? Will we ever know the real truth about our journey through life and death? Though the plot is simple, it does hold your interest until the end. Chase is the quintessential teenager going through his "growing up into an adult" phase, but he has his own turmoil to deal with. Friends and family have stood by him, but all he craves for is the one in his dreams. Is she for real or is he just chasing a false hope? How does his father's teacher, Darla, whom he has never seen nor spoken to, fit into the picture? Well, the book needs to be read from cover to cover to reveal all the mysteries and the surprising truth.
