The right motivation provides children with the encouragement needed to improve themselves. It also gives them the confidence to become self-sufficient and to attempt new activities. One way to motivate children is to give them suggestions about the great things they can do. Please Dare to Dream: A Message from Your Teacher by Chrissy J. Morgan is the perfect book to do this. The author’s narration is from the point of view of a teacher. She recounts all the best moments of the school cycle and expresses pride in her students. She reminds them of their displays of talent and skills and invites them to keep striving to achieve great things. The discussion moves on to embrace several professions that involve scientific activities, sports, and art, which provide opportunities for innovation.
I liked Please Dare to Dream because it has short phrases that will be readily understood by children. The images are colorful, and each page represents a different idea. I liked seeing the children imagining what they could achieve. The environment created is harmonious because the teacher's affection for her students is clear. I liked the variety of suggestions the teacher introduces here because many of the careers are focused on contributing to a better society. Young readers will become aware of many new possibilities. Chrissy J. Morgan demonstrates to children that there are no limits and that anything is possible. That is why this is a book that all children should read.
