Reese’s love of math and Dean’s constant humor bring a unique dynamic to their sibling relationship. Polar Post by Kathy Arnold Cherry is a children’s adventure that follows the tale of siblings Reese and Dean. One day while learning about the polar region, the siblings, and their dog, Tutu, are magically teleported to Erutuf National Park, where animals can talk and fun adventures await. Upon arriving, the team is tasked to protect the park's treasures by retrieving a secret map and hiding it from the pirates. Although this is their second time on a magical trip, the siblings still face challenges and have their guard up for any danger. Their journey takes them through an ice maze, the observatory, and dog kennels. They participate in magical tasks, meet polar bears and sled dogs, and run into influencers who threaten to ruin their reputation. Join Reese, Dean, and their mischievous dog on a whimsical adventure and learn about Arctic animals.

Polar Post is an entertaining and educational story that blends humorous moments and knowledge about the Arctic region. It is the third book in the Erutuf National Park collection, and it sparks curiosity about different ecosystems and raises awareness about environmental and animal protection. Reese and Dean are relatable characters that readers will love getting to know. Their sibling banter, coupled with Dean's jokes and Reese's love for math, makes the book engaging. Most of the entertainment came from Tutu and his love for treats. His constant requests and cute behavior were humorous. The book has a map of Erutuf National Park, enticing readers with a visual exploration of future adventures. It also has interactive questions you can answer with your children or students. I enjoyed this book and recommend sharing it with your children. I look forward to reading more about these characters and hope to learn more about the world around us.

Polar Post by Kathy Arnold Cherry is the third book in the Erutuf National Park Novel series. After opening an email from the Polar Post, siblings Reese and Dean Walters suddenly find themselves transported to the magical Erutuf National Park once again. This time, however, their adorable golden retriever, Tutu, is also with them, and she can talk in the park. The siblings meet Ty, the polar bear, in the Arctic zone, and after entertaining them with a couple of card tricks, Ty discloses their mission to find a secret map and hide it before the pirates get their hands on it. Following the Junior Ranger handbook, Reese, Dean, and Tutu will navigate an ice maze, ride the monorail, receive tips from narwhals, encounter sled dogs, and race against influencers to complete their mission.

Laced with action, adventure, and magic, Polar Post is an entertaining book that young readers will devour with relish. Kathy Arnold Cherry wastes no time in putting the reader into the midst of the action, and from the first page onward, it's a non-stop, action-packed journey to the finish line. The plot is full of twists and turns, and you will never guess what's coming next. But the highlight of the book for me was the colorful cast of characters. Kids and preteen readers will love the different talking animals featured in this story. Tutu is adorable, and Reese and Dean's sibling dynamic feels very realistic. Ty is another fun-loving character who will put a smile on your face. All in all, it's a fantastic adventure tale for kids.
