Low rice and high rice apartments. What is a written contest for prisoners? A con-test. Where in France do sardines go camping? In Cannes (cans). Where does the Transylvanian Count Dracula order his pencils? In Pencil-Vania of the USA (Pennsylvania). Why are carnivores religious? Because they prey before they eat (pray). Dominique Liongson obviously comes from a family who always tries to outdo each other telling the best jokes. Retelling jokes didn’t produce a lot of laughs, only a lot of embarrassment for the author. She was then inspired to have a crack at penning her own rib-ticklers when her younger cousin began writing jokes. Pun-Tastic Ways for Brighter Days is a collection of original riddle-pun jokes that Dominique Liongson spent 365 days crafting They are divided into seven witty categories that are titled What; Where; When; Which; Who; Why; How. You can smile, roll your eyes or laugh out loud with this amusing play on words and riddle-puns, which is very family-friendly. Some will even become favorites of kids who hear them for the first time.
