Bella Divine is back at her family's New Mexico vacation home after over a decade. She is trying to find some kind of peace after her mom's sudden illness had them rushing back to their home in California all those years before. Could God have her back here for a reason? But how could He when she stopped speaking to Him so long ago? Bella has a few surprises upon her return, mainly her old flame, Beau. And after spending time together, clearly the old attraction from fifteen years earlier was still there between them. But there are secrets Bella could never tell Beau, so nothing can ever happen with the attraction.
Radiant Rays of Grace by Delia Latham is a delightful, yet heartbreaking story. The Divine family had a pretty good life until tragedy hit them on one of their trips to their family vacation home. The family didn't handle it well and went their own separate ways, not always making the right decisions. Then curiosity finally has Bella returning, and it was such a sweet return, including her old flame showing up on her doorstep. I really like Beau and Bella. Beau seems like every women's dream in a man. And Bella has such a lovely spirit about her. The two have a long past between them, a good past that is.
Delia Latham creates wonderful characters that tell their story so well. And I love how they developed throughout the story. And the ending was just perfect for me. I loved it. If you enjoy a charming, heartwarming romance with a few twists and turns, this is a great book to read. Radiant Rays of Grace takes only a few hours to read and will leave you feeling blessed. Especially with the faith shown in the lives of the characters so well.
