In this action-packed sci-fi adventure, agent Heather Kilgore is forced to form an unexpected alliance to unveil some riveting secrets that threaten the fate of her entire kingdom. She is a highly talented and skilled assassin/agent from the star kingdom of Prometheus. Heather is recruited by the Order of the King's Cross to investigate the death of her former lover, Commander Connor Monroe. Monroe is known as a traitor who defected to a rival star nation. When his death is deemed suspicious, King Charles conscripts the Order to investigate his death--this is where Heather also steps in. Surprisingly, she is paired with Agent Tabitha Lowry, her former mentor. These two formidable female agents have intense unresolved issues between them. But can they put aside their differences long enough to discover what happened to Monroe and stop an impending war? Grab a copy of Rogue Agent by Skyler Ramirez for the answers you desperately seek.

Rogue Agent is a compelling murder mystery that will force your brain into overdrive from the moment you start reading it. You will constantly wonder who to trust and who to suspect. You will not be sure which character is a protagonist or a villain until the many exciting plot twists unravel slowly--this is a significant part of the excitement and allure of this spectacular novel. Skyler Ramirez’s writing is superb, and the pacing is flawless. Heather is the perfect assassin. She always gets the job done. You will not want to become her enemy. Rogue Agent is safe for teens and young adults to read. Even older adult fans of sci-fi and space adventures will love it! This novel has minimal gore/violence and no profanity or sexually explicit content. If you enjoy watching films like Black Widow, Wonder Woman, and Hanna, you will love reading Rogue Agent. I recommend it to readers who love an exciting sci-fi, mystery, and action read with a strong female lead.
