Sammi Jo and the Best Christmas Ever is the fourth book in the Sammi Jo Adventure Series by Dede Stockton. The story of Sammi Jo continues as she must come to terms with the fact that she may not be able to see everyone she loves this holiday. She knows that going back to school is important, but what is she to do when she wants to see her friends? Getting in the water in icy winter is not easy and she will have to wait until summer to meet the people of Edenlandia. But her parents surprise her with a way in which she not only can spend Christmas with her friends underwater but actually do it without freezing to death. She is in for a surprise as, along the way, she finds out that there is a lot more to the holidays than what she thought.
Short, snappy and a perfect companion for the holiday season, Sammi Jo and the Best Christmas Ever is a great stocking stuffer for children with an active imagination. Sammi is a very likable character; she is smart and very mature for her age, yet it doesn’t take away from her innocence. She is a girl who knows what she wants and she is respectful about the wishes of others. The story itself is very wholesome and incredibly detailed. Dede Stockton made sure that kids reading this easily get a good lesson out of it. This book is a great way to teach your children that holidays are special; it is the perfect time to make friends and be good to everyone around you. Entertaining and woven incredibly well together.
