If you are new to the wonderful world of photography, then, Simply Exposure by Brian Parkin is the book for you. I have been an active photographer with an SLR Nikon since 1978, and even I learned valuable information from this book. This book is full of hints and suggestions that will help you improve your photographic skills. You will learn the basics that can take you far beyond your current abilities. If you are wondering what all the letters and buttons on your new camera are for, you no longer need to wonder because you will learn all about them in Brian’s book. This is the A-to-Z book on exposure that you will be glad you bought. I highly recommend reading this book and watching your photographic quality soar.
Brian Parkin knows his camera and how to shoot amazing pictures. He shares his knowledge in Simply Exposure: A Light Bulb Moment through charts, tables, and easy-to-understand words. Though this book is about a technical subject, it is written on the average layperson’s level. A beginner photographer can easily understand it while the more advanced photographer will still find valuable information here. Brian makes reading this book enjoyable and even adds illustrations from his own work. After reading this book, you will want to keep it as a great reference work to go back to and review your newfound knowledge. You will be delighted to find new ways to improve your skills. I think this will become the essential guide to exposure for all levels of photographers.
