Increasingly we are seeing so many different types of families in society. What do they all have in common? It's their unique differences that account for this. In Some families… by Kimi Hall, the reader embarks on an adventure with families of different types that are each special in their way. Kimi displays the many ways that each group shows love, worship, celebration, travel, eating, and having fun. Families of different religions, cultures, genders, or makeup express their different dynamics in this book. I'm sure the reader will be able to identify some similarities in the lives represented here. A person may not be related to you but over time a bond is created and traditions have been established. Have you been in this type of situation? I have many times. A family is what you make it to be.

Some Families… by Kimi Hall is a captivating book because it's set up in photo album style. This allows the reader to visualize their family photos within the pages of the book and discover that though there are some differences, there are also similarities. Picture yourself celebrating a graduation, combing your grandfather's hair, playing in your yard, or seeing a parent reading a book. This book can take you to so many places and whatever your structure, you will fully enjoy this jewel. Explore and share those precious memories today that will last a lifetime when you purchase this book. Get your copy today. Highly recommended.

Some Families... by Kimi Hall provides a look into the different types of families found all over the world. Some families have either one parent or two, some have a mommy and a daddy, while others have two of the same. Families do different things together or just take a nap and relax. No family is the same, just as no two people are similar. Families are as unique as the people that comprise them.

Some Families... by Kimi Hall is a lovely little book that illustrates the many different types of families that can be found in today’s society. This is especially important as children can easily feel excluded for being different in some way or another. It is therefore important to have examples of different families and structures for young children to realize that it is okay to be unique, especially if you come from another background. Just because your family is dissimilar doesn’t mean there is anything wrong. I think this book conveys such a beautiful message and it is necessary, especially in today’s society. The diversity which can be found in families today is evident and children need to learn and understand such concepts early on. It is for that reason that I would highly recommend this book.
