The Adventures of a Whimsical Unicorn Named Twinkle Toes is written by Traci Brewington. Twinkle Toes smells some sweet smells and hears beautiful sounds that catch her attention. As she follows the smells, she runs into her friend Glitzy who could hear and smell the same things she was looking for. Twinkle Toes and Glitzy, dancing happily to the music, follow the scents to find out what they could be and where they could be coming from. Will they ever catch up to the swirling music? Where was the sound coming from and what was its purpose? Should they continue following the sound and the sweet smells? What could the smells be?

I love the magical and educational purpose of The Adventures Of A Whimsical Unicorn Named Twinkle Toes by Traci Brewington. The idea of making the pages bright, colorful and fun so that they can follow the story and learn descriptive words is brilliant! I love the way Twinkle Toes and Glitzy get caught up in their magical adventure full of music, smells and sounds that get them more and more excited as they follow their imaginative hearts. The illustrations are absolutely adorable and make the story fun to read as they help the reader follow Twinkle Toes and Glitzy to the source of the things that caught their attention. I recommend this wonderful tale to anyone with children in the early stages of reading. Brewington left no concept without an adjective that would colorfully describe the beauty of the magical world her characters play in. This story will definitely help young readers discover that reading is fun, even when they are learning new ideas.
