I started reading this book and right from the start I was absolutely captivated by the main character Scarlett. She has a way of speaking with sarcasm in her voice and a spirit that is so relatable. This book has made me emotional just reading about the darkness she has had to endure and the memories that take her back to a time she barely speaks of. A journey through grief, heartbreak, soul searching and travel. The characters come to life and each moment I am thrilled and feeling like I'm following in the characters foot steps in whichever place she is escaping to. The imagery and descriptions are exceptional and the art is beautiful. A work of art all together. This book was definitely worth the purchase.
