The Armstrong Agenda by Arthur Kautz follows Steve Mason, a former CIA agent who is reactivated for duty. Steve's mission is to stop millionaire Raymond Armstrong's plot to murder the president of the United States and several members of Congress. After losing his parents in a plane crash at the age of eleven, Armstrong believed the government was behind his misfortunes and viewed the government as his enemy. Three CIA agents approached Steve to convince him to assist, and he found himself entangled in the situation against his wishes. The attack on his business partner, Hank, led Steve to believe that sensitive information had been compromised and that someone was actively searching for him. Steve's mission was to locate Armstrong, but he spent more time being hunted than finding Armstrong. With all these troubles, will Steve be in time to stop Armstrong’s plans?
The Armstrong Agenda by Arthur Kautz was a fascinating and engaging read. The plot moved quickly and was packed with nonstop action. The tension kept me gripping my seat as I flipped through the pages as quickly as possible. The writing was captivating, and the events were vividly described. I easily lost myself in this action-filled world and became part of the mission. The unexpected twists made it hard to foresee what would happen next. I could not put the book aside, worried I might miss something crucial. The characters were well-crafted and compelling. They felt genuine and relatable. The story was excellently written and held my interest from start to finish. I loved every moment of the story. I needed some time to get back to reality after the excitement ended when I finished reading the book.
