The Fixer: The Killing Kind (The Fixer - Katerina Mills Book 2) by Jill Amy Rosenblatt is the second book in a series. Kat is back as The Fixer and this time she is in way over her head. Christmas is coming but, with her job as The Fixer, her college classes and a lovesick policeman to deal with, Kat really isn’t getting into the spirit of things. Simon Marcus is a hedge fund manager and he wants Kat to get his Porsche back from his wife. But someone else wants the car as well. Paul Patel is a writer and what he wants Kat to get, what will help him finish his new book, could land her behind bars. And who is Tomas Gallagher? He never gives Kat a hard job, but there is something about him. Kat needs some help and Alexander Winter is just the man she needs. But, once again, Kat is heading into trouble and it’s all down to the first Fix she did. Who is after Kat and why?
The Fixer: The Killing Kind (The Fixer - Katerina Mills Book 2) by Jill Amy Rosenblatt is every bit as good, if not better, than the first book in the series. Even more action is packed into this edge-of-your-seat tale as Kat leads us on another thrilling journey. Fast and furious is how I would describe this; if you let your attention lapse for just one second, you will lose the plot. Again, the plot has been well-written and the character development continues from Book 1, allowing us to learn more about Kat and what makes her who she is. You probably could read this is a standalone novel but, in all honesty, it's best to read Book 1 first. Another great offering from Ms. Rosenblatt. I hope there is more to come!
