The Ghost Stories is a collection of short supernatural tales written by Ravi Ranjan Goswami. Each story is unique and presents a new cast and a different plot line. The Last Photo explores the idea of taking a perfect final photograph of a dead person. The second story, Demon Cats, is about a pair of mischievous demons that possess lions and kill an innocent man but later face the consequences of their actions. A Rainy, Cold Night is a spooky story about shadows in the rain. Finally, The Kingdom of Ghosts is a beautiful story about a community of ghosts who try to live like humans and covers topics of human greed and pollution. The Ghost Stories will take you on an adventure and leave you wanting more.

Ravi Ranjan Goswami showcases his creative and unique writing skills in The Ghost Stories, and he made each story represent a different scenario from a different era or realm. I loved the diversity of the characters and the way he addresses various life issues. Everyone can have their own interpretation of each story, depending on their life experiences and perspective. The author adds elements of Hindu mythology and culture, which I enjoyed immensely. I loved how each story had a well-balanced dose of fear and enlightenment. I tried to put myself in each character's shoes and realized they all were frightened but learned a life-changing lesson by the end of the ghostly encounter. If you love scary stories as I do, then The Ghost Stories is the perfect book for you. Amazing storytelling.
