Beth lost her beloved grandmother six months ago and, although she has learned to accept it and move on, her grandfather hasn’t. Asked to go and spend a month over the summer with him, she leaps at the chance to help him. She struggles with the task she has set herself until help arrives in the most unlikely form. A young lad named Billy jumps in to help her and so does an unexpected ghostly figure. Can Beth succeed in helping her grandfather to move on? And just who is that ghostly helper?
The Ghost with the Green Thumb (True Girls) (Volume 2) by Maggie M Larche is a good story and is well written for the target audience. It really was a fast, fun read as promised, and I found it one of those books that I couldn’t put down. It was extremely well written, with a nice story line that contained a bit of everything – fun, laughter, romance, a little paranormal, and lots of action. Ms. Larche writes in an engaging manner, drawing the reader in with a neat story, the details manifesting in a way that makes you need to carry on reading. The character development was excellent. I really felt I knew them all well by the time the book ended and that is some going for a short story. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I am looking forward to reading the next one.
