The Gospel According to Todd is a work of fiction. It is fiction based on the desire of many people. Most skeptics would love to go back to the time of Christ and witness the miracles for themselves. They believe that if they saw and met Jesus, then if He were real, they could believe. R. A. Williams bases The Gospel According to Todd on this popular belief. Skeptic Dr. Todd Heller fails to save the life of one of his friends and fails to convince his wife not to leave him all on the same night. Could life get worse? Todd awakens the following day to find himself in the Middle East around 30 A.D. Join him on his adventure to investigate the life and miracles of Christ. Todd sees sights and experiences events that will change his life forever. Is it possible that he traveled back in time to convert his soul into a believer in Jesus Christ?
R. A. Williams is a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, and he wants you to join him in his faith. He has written an intriguing little book in The Gospel According to Todd. Williams uses an unconventional method to share his faith. He has chosen to share the last part of the life of Christ through a story that includes Dr. Todd Heller. Even though every Christian will recognize the stories told, they will be thrilled by the details included. Williams has done his research well (using some of the best books on the life of Christ, including The Life and Times of Jesus Christ the Messiah). The correct nuances from the period shine through the storyline. This book is historically accurate and will delight even the most mature Christian. More importantly, non-believers will enjoy reading this book. It is well written. Williams has written so non-Christians will thrill to the story and might even have the seed of faith planted in them.
