The cover of The Secret of the Bubbles by Kateryna Rakova first caught my eye. Then I realized it was another Professor Green mystery. I was sold. I'd already read an earlier installment. This one definitely didn't disappoint. I liked getting to know the professor a little better. I rooted for him the whole time because he's intelligent and a bit awkward. The case kept me guessing until the end. There was a good mix of suspense, humor, and science. Short chapters and twists kept me eager to find out what was causing the bubbles. I enjoyed watching all the different pieces gradually come together. I could easily see slightly younger readers enjoying this read even though it’s written for young adults. Anyone looking for lighthearted mysteries, quirky characters, and science-themed books will want to pick this one up.
