Jim Robinson spends his spare moments reading and writing for more adventurous times and patriotic people.
Jim draws inspiration from Tom Clancy, an American novelist best known for his technically detailed espionage and military-science novels. Born in Baltimore, Tom Clancy was an insurance agent before he went on to write blockbuster espionage books, including ‘The Hunt for Red October’, ‘Patriot Games’ and ‘Clear and Present Danger.’
Jim notes the similarities in his career path to Tom Clancy’s. Jim worked in the Financial Services industry as an insurance agent, Certified Financial Planner and a General Principal for several large financial firms before writing his first book, ‘Changing Faces – America’s Wealth Advisors.” Jim then turned his attention to his first military fiction novel, ‘The Sixth Extinction.’ Now comes his second military fiction novel, ‘Accelerant – Continental Drift.’
Jim wants you to know he was born and raised in Savannah, Georgia…where as a boy, he watched huge container ships travel up and down the Savannah River. Savannah is also home to two military bases, Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Air Force base. Jim also lived and worked in Fairbanks Alaska.
Jim loves spending as much time as he can ‘Billfishing’ in the waters near Tortola BVI and Puerto Rico. He also loves hunting in. Alaska as the Sun Dogs dance across the sky. Jim is currently working on several fiction and nonfiction novels.

The Sixth Extinction: Genesis - The New World Order by James Morris Robinson is a riveting story that powerfully depicts radicalism and folly at their peak. Readers are introduced to two radical and highly intelligent characters, Jeff and Kyle, who are determined to reset the world by deploying a nuclear heat powerful enough to destroy the entire world, causing the sixth extinction. Faced with the strength of the mobilized navy and other forces, will they succeed?
Robinson’s book is an epic tale of folly and bravery, a tale packed with action. The characters are compelling enough to grab the interest of readers, and Jeff and Kyle form a pair readers will not forget for a long time after they have completed reading the book. The Sixth Extinction is gripping and engrossing, laced with vivid descriptions and interesting dialogues. It is entertaining to watch the “Shepherds,” a group composed of leaders of the world’s Islamic radical movements (Boko Haram, al-Qaeda, ISIS, al-Shabaab), as they gather together to deliberate on an important course of action to take with regard to the imminent global crisis. Although this is a work of fiction, it reads so realistically because it draws from scientific facts that seem to be well researched and it centers on realities that affect humanity at this age. Robinson knows how to call the attention of readers to crucial questions through his masterful storytelling. The plot is fast-paced, and the author has intelligently used humor and suspense to grab the attention of readers.
