If you could enjoy your life based on your perception of time, value and money, would you? If you could quit your job, bid a fond farewell to your boss and travel the world while effortlessly generating multiple streams of income, would you start packing now? If you said yes, then you are ready to read “The Time Trading Guru” by Robert Renaud. If you are working 40 hours and slavishly waiting for retirement, Renaud says you have an old school mindset. For the last 20+ years, he has mastered the art of trading time or diversifying income to lessen the gravity of economic changes. Time trading helps you leverage life breaks and determine how you will spend your time whether it is for one day or 10 years. Luxury is defined by perception.
Renaud is an executive, creator of 'The Bureaucrats' comic strip, entrepreneur, world traveler and a father. I was swept away by his exotic travels. The conversations with Jack (a talented but misguided executive who was relying on his corporate job to provide for his financial future) helped convey his message. The chapter about money was so comprehensive and detailed that it compelled me to reconsider my notion of income. This book offers tips and eye-opening discoveries about the mundane things (emails and multitasking) that erode our time. “The Time Trading Guru” is for those fearless souls who want to live life on their own terms.
