Herb was a maintenance man working late. Just as he was about to close up, he was attacked by a group of bats. Fearing for his life, Herb bit one of them. If he could not survive this abnormal attack then he would at least take some of them with him. He did not expect to survive and, least of all, he did not expect to befriend an outcast from the swarm of bats that attacked him. He connected with the only bat not going after his blood. He immediately noticed a dramatic difference in himself after the attack. He could no longer see his reflection and he was able to fly. What would become of him now that he was a creature of the night? Would he be able to fight off the monsters coming after him because of the blood that runs through his veins? Read Theatre of the Vampires by H. F. Galloway to find out.

Theatre of the Vampires is a fast-paced and thrilling novel. Herb was just a regular maintenance man who was suddenly attacked. That changed his life forever and he had to prepare himself to fight against creatures he thought only existed in stories. This action-packed narrative took me on an adventure I will never forget. Herb was a cautious character, and he was afraid of what he had become. The plotline and sequences were unusual and remarkable. The characters and creatures in the story added depth and a fresh twist to the narrative. I was enthralled by Herb’s harrowing journey as a vampire and his personal growth. There was a strong force inside him and he needed immeasurable strength to control it. I never saw the ending coming. Thrilling and bewildering, H. F. Galloway knew how to keep me guessing. This was an amazing and heartbreaking adventure. Brilliant work.

Theatre of the Vampires is a supernatural thriller novella by H.F. Galloway. Working as a maintenance man in a theatre, Herb finds himself unwittingly turned into a vampire after a chance encounter with a cauldron of bats from Transylvania. Now, with an eccentric bat named the General as his mentor, Herb begins to learn the ways of vampires and trains to use his abilities to their full extent. Soon, Herb's coworkers and friends are turned into vampires, forming quite a formidable team. But an enemy horde from Europe is emerging, and when they learn about Herb and his little group, they storm toward America to destroy him and his friends. Can Herb and his friends stop the devastating bat plague sweeping across the planet led by a malevolent king?

Concise and captivating, Theatre of the Vampires is an absolute treat for vampire aficionados. H.F. Galloway does not waste words in telling a gripping tale about a small vampire coven that must face a powerful enemy while still learning the skills of being vampires and honing their abilities. The plot moves at a blistering pace, with the narrative putting the reader into the thick of things from the outset. Herb and his friends are the heart of the story. They have an entertaining back-and-forth chatter that makes them relatable as characters. I especially liked the dynamic between Herb and the General. If you love supernatural stories featuring vampires, you're going to enjoy this one.

It all started the evening when Herb, who was in the sub-basement of the theater where he works checking on the heating
and air equipment, was bitten by bats. Instead of dying, he bit one of the bats back and drank the blood of the ancients (a thing forbidden to human beings). Shortly after, Herb realizes that something in him has changed, and it is up to the little bat called the General to explain to him what to do and what is going on. What is more important, though, is that the bat that Herb killed was the second in command and brother to the king, and he will have to face that threat. What will happen to Herb? You will find the answer in Theatre of the Vampires by H. F. Galloway.

Theatre of the Vampires tells an intriguing story. H. F. Galloway has written a tale that will entertain readers and make them eager to learn about Herb, the General, and all the other characters who gradually join them. The General, in particular, is a character I liked very much because he is the most original. The book is not very long, but it has all the ingredients for a story full of twists, and you do not really know how it will end. I have to say that the ending was a big surprise; I did not expect it like this at all. I recommend this book to those who love vampire stories; there is something interesting for everyone to enjoy.
