To My Child by Frances Siino is an uplifting book that conveys a lot of good messages to young readers and will encourage them to lead a fulfilling life filled with positivity and gratitude. Written as a conversation between a mother and daughter, the book begins with the mother telling the daughter a few things she has learned while growing up. She tells her daughter that she is unique and special and she has to let her light shine through. She advises her daughter to follow her heart always and do what she loves. She tells her daughter that it is important to treat others with kindness and respect, and set her goals high. She teaches her to treasure every day of her life and be thankful for the life she lives. She advises her to always find her sun and block darkness in her life.

Written as a conversation between a mother and daughter, this book teaches children good morals and concepts and guides them to live life positively. The mother encourages her daughter to always look on the bright side of life and be grateful for what she has. Justice Naim breathes life into the characters and the messages with beautiful illustrations that make this book entertaining. This is definitely a valuable book for parents and tutors to instill values in their children in an interesting and interactive way. Tutors can use it in classrooms and get their students to act out the moments shared by the mother and daughter, making the messages, values, and morals clear to them. The author weaves positive messages into the story seamlessly, without sounding preachy.
