Under the Sea Adventure - Fun Sea Animals and Marine Life Rhymes Picture Book for Kids (Rhymes for Children) by Louise Folger is a delightful picture book for children that will take them to the world of sea creatures and the sea. It is an ideal book to teach children about marine life, sea animals, dolphins, mermaids etc. It is a cheerful book for children with lots of colorful illustrations. The tales also subtly convey to young readers messages of how to protect the endangered sea creatures and to preserve the coral and marine life. The book also gives readers tips on how to conserve nature.
This is a perfect book that can be kept in school and children's libraries because it is educational. It teaches children many things; the names of the sea creatures, details of marine life and how to preserve it. The characteristics of each animal are also given in the form of rhyming verses. The illustrations breathe life into the rhyming verses. The ending verse says it all:
'The seas are full of animals
that can be our teacher.
So we need to protect them
and save them for our future.'
The tips to protect marine life are given at the end of the book which is very useful for children and important to practice. Children are the future of our society and the message of protecting the environment is one the best themes that can be taught to children, considering the plight of the world now.
