Detective Sergeant Jessica Daniel returns in Vigilante: A Gripping and Twisted Serial Killer Thriller by Kerry Wilkinson. Detective Sergeant Jessica Daniel is called to the scene of a stabbing of a convicted felon who has just been released from prison. Soon after, two more criminals recently released from prison are murdered with the same MO. A serial killer is trying to clean up the refuse that the legal system can't keep imprisoned. The strange thing is, all the DNA evidence from the assailant at the crime scenes belongs to a convict who is firmly ensconced in a prison cell. With no other suspects, Jessica is caught in a quandary; DNA doesn't lie, and there is no way that the suspect can be in two places at once. Will she be able to stop the murderer before his sense of justice includes law-abiding citizens?
Vigilante is an exciting and perplexing murder mystery. This story has an intriguing twist. The main suspect is already in prison, and the fatalities are convicts. Most of the populace isn't too concerned over the felons' deaths, including members of the department. Jessica wants answers and is determined to catch the murderer, in spite of the victims' unwholesome reputations. She believes the grieving families deserve justice and will do what it takes to get it for them. This breathtaking story is fast-paced and perfect for readers who are fans of suspense-filled thrillers.
