Waiting in the Wings (Flying Solo Series) (Volume 3) by Jeanette Vaughan is the last book in the trilogy, and is a book that will emotionally connect very well with readers. Jana Charbonnet is an adopted child and she is always haunted by the thought of how her own mother could give her up and never see her again. That experience always made her compassionate and caring and is one of the reasons she takes care of her boyfriend's son, Brady. Though she is busy with her own family, she takes care of Brady very well. She has two kids of her own and, when she is thirty, Jana tries to find her real mother. This book revolves around adoption and relationships and will touch readers' hearts.

The author takes you right into the story, continuing from where she left off in the previous two books; Nora, her family and life. The book is emotional and moving as it takes readers to the nuances and depths of human emotions like jealousy, love, being self-centered, and many other feelings. The author masterfully blends the previous plot of Nora's story with that of Jana, who is introduced in this volume. All the characters are well developed and the book does reveal how the real world can be at times. The author's approach to the plot and characters is pragmatic. Jana's life is heartrending and her determination to find her biological parents comes across as very bold and courageous. A great story on adoption and relationships.
