In Waltzing With The Wind by James P. Usavage, Raleigh Stover lives a humdrum life. Apart from owning a movie memorabilia store, Raleigh has an office job where he is very much appreciated by his boss, Ned. After securing himself a well-earned holiday on a cruise ship, Raleigh travels to Atlanta, Georgia, where he spends an eventful night in the manor owned by the eccentric couple Filo and Amanda Krane. When he returns home, he finds himself embroiled in some mysterious events revolving around his building. Meanwhile, Raleigh starts dating his boss's secretary, Ivy. Plagued by nightmares and supernatural events, Raleigh decides to confront his reclusive landlord, Harry Williams. Little does he know that he is about to go up against a dangerous man who has plans to control the spirit world.

Filled with mystery, suspense, and a touch of the supernatural, Waltzing With The Wind is a surreal odyssey mystery lovers are bound to enjoy. James P. Usavage takes readers for a ride with this supernatural thriller that keeps you on the edge of your seat until the end. The plot is completely unpredictable. The author throws in some unexpected curveballs along the way that keep you guessing about what's going to happen next. This is primarily a plot-driven story where the characters are placed in very specific roles to keep the narrative moving. Raleigh is the most fleshed-out character, and his relationship with Ivy was one of the highlights of the book for me. Recommended to readers who love supernatural mysteries.
