In our fast-paced world, many of us lose sight of who we are and what our purpose is, but I am sure that each of us has wondered about these things at least once. If you need a guide to help you clarify your situation, I recommend you read Where You Are and How to Get There: A Guide To Rediscovering A Life-Story Worth Living by Nolan Recker. After telling the parable of the man with two sons and then relating the story of the man, the woman, and the serpent, this book will help readers become aware of their personality, God, other people, and their purpose. In this way, answering the question that the author repeats throughout the book (where are you?) will be much easier for each of us.
What I particularly liked about Where You Are and How to Get There is that it is a straightforward, easy-to-read book. You read it with pleasure, and it explains important things. The times we live in sometimes leave us confused, and I believe Nolan Recker has helped his readers tremendously with this book. In particular, the fact that he has explained personality, God, people, and purpose will ensure readers focus on areas that are fundamental to their lives. Above all, what will open new horizons for them (as happened to me) is that these four parts are closely intertwined. I highly recommend this book to all readers who need practical guidance to reflect and improve.
