Olivia and David King went through hell. Fate smiled at them, and life returned to normal. Then, out of the blue, Michael showed up on Olivia’s doorstep, wanting to mend the relationship with David. He was David’s estranged brother. Michael’s presence unearthed the enmity and secrets that dated back to their childhood and teenage years. David wanted none of it and refused to forgive his brother, even though his wife stepped into the matter. Olivia was at work one day when something happened that set the ball rolling for a year-long of secrets. Her husband found out, and things were never the same. But just as David was letting go, a sudden trip and tragedy separated them. Is it too late for the couple? Find out in Yesterday by L. A. Sky.

Yesterday by L. A. Sky was a fun, emotional novel and the second installment of its series. The book featured a realistic storyline and a beautiful plot that captivated me. I felt the suspense, action, and adrenaline. The novel also explored passion, love, loyalty, trust, and grief. Yesterday drew me in from the first sentence and sustained an even tempo until the end, which was a cliffhanger. I loved Olivia, Mya, and David, but Michael and Gayle made quite the impression. Earl’s situation made me feel terrible, as I thought he deserved better. Sky told an excellent story with an authentic style and language that showcased its roots and culture. Childhood trauma is damaging, and I hope parents start doing right by their kids. Thank you for a beautiful story, Sky.
