Author Biography

Pippa Wilson was born and raised in Australia, so considers herself a very lucky girl. Whilst she didn't encounter any drop bears or hoop snakes growing up, she did almost sit on a funnel web spider once. Now that was a lucky escape!

Not one to sit back and let others have all the fun, Pippa likes to join in and experience life whenever she can and is very proud to say that she has abseiled down a cliff and canyoned down a waterfall (Ok it wasn't a big cliff or waterfall but it was still a blast!). Pippa was a Cub Scout Leader for a number of years, where she acted very happily like a big kid on a number of occasions, most likely embarrassing her two boys along the way.

Having just left the corporate world, Pippa is embarking on her writing career, and hopes to bring many humorous and adventurous stories to her readers.

Come Follow Zaci the Zebra and his friends as they venture through the African plains of their home for the first time without any of their parents. While having so much fun singing and playing on their adventure, they find themselves in a scary place they aren't allowed to be. The young animals are scared and begin to panic. But Zaci Zebra has a plan. Will his plan work? Will they find their way home safely? Come find out!

Zaci the Zebra Is Very Brave by Pippa Wilson is a delightful children's pictorial book introducing young readers to African wild life, the concepts of courage, safety, and friendship. Children often want to venture out with friends on their own, without the supervision of their parents. They often make mistakes while doing so, but all in good fun. The book provides a message to both children and parents. For children: if you are by yourself and get lost, don't panic, think of what an adult would want you to do, or act as if they are with you. For parents: your children are going to make mistakes in life so trust in what you've taught them, and have faith that they will remember when it's needed as depicted in the story when the young animals get lost. Children will love the fun rhyming, singsong feel to the text within the story, as well as the very bright and colorful illustrations. The book is a wonderful story, with a powerful message for both children and adults to enjoy together.
