Fantastic! That's what I thought when I finished reading Chasing 193: The Quest to Visit Every Country in the World. Authors Ryan Trapp and Lee Abbamonte have done an excellent job in collecting stories from 34 of the 100 people who have visited all 193 countries in this world of ours, and have shared them in a way that will keep travel novices and travel experts alike turning the pages from start to finish. From danger to adventure to the downright odd, the experiences that these varied travelers share are nothing if not interesting.
I loved this book. Loved it! It's written in such a way that a reader could take it in short chunks, reading one traveler's experience at a time, but I plowed through the whole thing in one sitting, I enjoyed it that much. Authors Ryan Trapp and Lee Abbamonte have a book truly worthy of space on any reader's bookshelf, but especially those who love to travel. Their philosophy of travel as part of a lifelong education certainly shines through, and with the varied stories they present, and the varied travelers featured, every reader is certain to find a favorite.
I highly recommend Chasing 193: The Quest to Visit Every Country in the World. I will certainly be keeping my eyes peeled for any further work by either or both of these up and coming authors and suggest that any reader with even a passing interest in travel does the same. You won't be disappointed!
