Silent Grief: To New Beginnings is a contemporary romance novel by Deborah Adele. Arya Alexander moved from her home in Redfield to Bellemere in the hopes of leaving the pain of her past behind. After she lost her father, a brother, and her husband in a terrible accident, Arya just couldn't stay home, much to the chagrin of her mother and sister. However, a chance encounter at the airport with a stranger causes her to open her heart once more. Jacob Ryan is a real estate agent who can't get the girl from the airport out of his mind. Unexpectedly, Arya's new job leads her to run straight into the man visiting her dreams. Can Arya and Jacob move past their broken hearts? Will they give in to their feelings?

Silent Grief: To New Beginnings is a story about a second chance at love. If you're a fan of hot, steamy romance that also has immersive family drama, this is just the book for you. Deborah Adele has spun an absorbing, character-driven tale that has its hooks in you from beginning to end. I felt the author paced the plot brilliantly, leaving room for the characters to breathe and express their personalities to their fullest. Arya, to me, was the most interesting character. Her backstory makes her easy to root for, and I found her chemistry with Jacob absolutely fascinating. The narrative also has a couple of twists and turns that I'm sure will take readers by surprise. All in all, this is tailor-made for readers of contemporary romance. I really enjoyed it, and so should you.

This author’s talent is something very special. Silent Grief is an emotionally consuming and beautifully written story about suffering loss, finding peace, and discovering love again. Wonderful characters. I fell in love with Jacob and Arya from page one. I sensed the author was very close to the subject matter because the storytelling was so real and authentic. Just a lovely story with a fabulously ending. I can’t wait to read more this brilliant writer.

This book was an emotional roller coaster ride. Deborah Adele writes on loss and new love. Grief and sadness amidst moving forward. The story follows Arya an interior designer with amazing skill. She's lost so much not just through an avoidable tragedy but the fallout afterwards. She doesn't believe she is capable of moving on but can't seem to forget the piercing blue eyes of the stranger she met in the airport.

I would have loved more of their story and felt the ending was a little rushed. I can't wait to check out book two in the series though and look forward to reading more from Deborah in the future.

SILENT GRIEF is the story of two people who are getting over relationships and a missed connection they just can’t forget. Jacob is a powerful businessman who recently divorced. When he bumps into a woman at the airport, he is stunned by her beauty, but misses the chance to get her name. Anya recently lost her husband Liam in a terrible accident that also took her father and brother. She is still grieving and we see the love that she and Liam shared throughout the book in flashback (I thought those scenes were really powerful.) She also can’t get the man she encountered at the airport out of her head. One thing I loved about this book is had a great feel like that movie Serendipity. The two main characters are both friends with another of the main couples, Isabelle and Andrew, as Andrew works for Jacob and Anya does interior design for them. There are all these fun near misses and I also liked seeing Isabelle and Andrew as a couple. I really liked the author’s note at the end, and loved how the book incorporated the themes that life goes on no matter how bad our losses and love and happiness are possible after loss and grief. This was steamy and romantic and I can’t wait for Deborah Adele’s next book! 5/5 stars.
