It is best suited to the general adult reading audience. Readers are invited to enjoy a poignant tale that spans generations and unfolds against the tumultuous backdrop of the Second World War. Lilibeth's return to Seagull’s Rest sets the stage for a captivating exploration of her grandmother Lilly's life, revealed through a diary left on her bed.
