Ava’s first day in school is fun and children will be excited to go to school after reading this book. The illustrations are lively and charming and they give a good movement to the story. Ava’s character is adorable and her enthusiasm on her first day of school is infectious. It is a good book for parents to read out to their children, especially to all those kids going to start kindergarten. Ava's first day at kindergarten is exciting and interesting and the author captures it beautifully in a way that readers will find appealing. The pictures to be drawn at the end of the story are good and will help young readers reflect on their own first day at kindergarten. They can also learn how to write their names by practicing properly. On the whole, reading this story is a good learning experience that will make children want to go to school.
